This marks my very first post ever on my very first blog ever. Whoooo!
After signing up with Bluehost to register my domain, things immediately went south. At first glance, the $3.95 fee looked harmless enough so I thought, 'Sure! Why not?!" Ha. I then received a notification for the purchase on my phone..... Almost $300. It seems they charge you for 36 months at a time and since I was not ready to make that great of a commitment yet to my blog, I panicked.
The good news is that you can get a full refund if you cancel within 30 days. 24 hours later, here I am. In a chat with Bluehost support, waiting for my money back, and typing up my first blog post on a much better (and by better I mean free) platform.
Aaaaanyways. I hope you'll stick around! I love reading other blogs and am excited to start one of my own. I promise all posts from here on out will be on the more exciting side of things.
